Want a great selection of crafty ciders and beers, great food, and amazing scenery? Today we are focusing on the land of my youth: South-Central Pennsylvania. Located in the scenic countryside south of York, Wyndridge Farm has become a go-to spot for not just great beers and food but also a popular venue for weddings and other events.

Brews to Choose
Wyndridge specializes in ciders and they do not disappoint. I like my ciders more dry than sweet, and their Crafty Cider and Crafty Hopped Cider both deliver and are available year round. When we were there we also tried their seasonal Mojito Cider, which I also liked a lot. They also had a neat Kettle Sour Cider on their rotating list.
Over on the beer side, their Barn Dog Imperial Porter is also a must-try. I got a flight of four while at brunch with Mom and Dad and tried several of the rotating beers. Of them, the Pineapple Orange IPA was a standout.
Above: a tale of two happy Smith boys trying new beers and ciders! Off camera: Mom’s drinking a Bloody Mary that had a bit of a kick to it.
And speaking of brunch, go with plans to eat! They have a classic menu of things like burgers and pizzas (and omelettes and such at brunch) but everything was fantastic! The mac ‘n cheese was unbelievable, and we had some sort of crab stuffed, cheesy potato concoction that also hit the spot.
Don’t forget to stop by the “Country Store” on the way out too and pick up some cider to go!
Until next time – Best Brews!
